[Remote] Forensic Accountant - Director

They are seeking a qualified candidate for the Director of Forensic Accountant role, which involves creating detailed calculations and analyses, managing client documentation, and promoting professional development within the team. Responsibilities • Create detailed, high-quality calculations, measurements, and other work product using Excel • Review and analyze client supporting documentation, including income statements, revenue details, payroll records, invoices, purchase orders, quotations, production documentation, inventory, etc • Work closely with Associate and Manager staff in the creation of work product and analysis, while at the same time promoting their professional development • Communicate effectively with managers, clients, and insurance carrier representatives throughout the engagement process • Review insurance policies to provide guidance for our analysis and clients • Manage and maintain engagement-related supporting documents and data, including our external shared site used by clients and insurance carrier representatives • Work with client representatives in gathering and reviewing supporting documentation • Assist with the maintenance of information requests • Help drive and promote business development and innovations • Participate in administrative projects that promote the overall growth of the firm Skills • Thirteen or more years of direct forensic accounting and insurance claim preparation/review within the commercial property insurance industry • Specific experience with business interruption claims • Strong written and oral communication skills • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting • Requirements include being a self-starter, detail-oriented, outgoing, and analytical • CPA, CFE, AIC, CPCU, or any other relevant industry certifications are a plus • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred Benefits • Flexibility of working remotely • Flexible hours • Open time-off policy • Retirement plan • 100% employer-paid health care coverage Company Overview • Pyxis Group is an industry-leading international forensic accounting & consulting practice dedicated to helping policyholders with their insurance claims and business interruption exposures.
