The Financial Services Operations Specialist is responsible for preparing financing documentation packages, ensuring compliance, and managing communication between various stakeholders to facilitate deal closures.ResponsibilitiesProactively drives transactions to closure by timely meeting documentation and process requirements and influencing others to meet deadlines while effectively maintaining relationships between customers, vendors internal departments, outside counsel, closing and title agents, etcEnsures the critical information for each customer deal is organized, compliant and accounted for through negotiations, documentation, booking and fundingDetermine closing requirements based on transaction structure after review of commitments and other approval documentation, and obtain satisfactory supporting documentationManage and monitor closing process by anticipating and resolving closing issues, as well as advocating and recommending solutions and alternatives to satisfy customer needs after balancing against risk and business requirementsHas authority to independently resolve customer issuesEnsure compliance with all transaction requirements through the use of prudent closing and commercial lending practices, leasing and sales standardsGenerate customer documents via internal systems in a timely and accurate mannerEnsure the timely completion of document storage and retentionPerform reviews of Commercial leases and loans to ensure compliance with established policies and standardsCalculate Pricing/Supertrump updates for Money Cost, Interim Rent, IndexingManually review and validate Usury Rules on all Loans and Quasi transactionsBasic understanding of Sales Tax/Property Tax pertaining to commercial leasing, including manually calculating sales tax in certain statesSkills1 years of experience with a financial institution, customer service, financial services operations, para legal, or contract management with exposure to loan and/or lease documentsGeneral knowledge of accounting with strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skillsDemonstrated ability to discern complex elements of transactions and consistently choose the correct course of actionAbility to deal with multiple priorities and meet deadlinesStrong oral and written communication skillsAbility to document, plan, market, and execute programsEquipment leasing experiencePC proficiency with Microsoft office suite with emphasis on Word and ExcelEffective verbal and written communication skillsAbility to successfully interface with customers, third parties and key internal stakeholdersAbility to perform in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to changeBenefitsMedicalDentalVisionPaid time offA 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunitiesLifeDisabilityAccident insuranceTuition reimbursementCompany OverviewGE Healthcare provides a wide range of medical technologies and services to healthcare providers and researchers.
