Remote Financial Modeler (Part-Time, Flexible, Ongoing)
Job Summary:
Exit Path Partners is seeking a talented Financial Modeler to build and maintain a flexible, accurate financial model for a startup with multiple revenue streams and fee arrangements. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical modeling skills looking for part-time, remote work with long-term collaboration.
Responsibilities:
• Develop an initial multi-revenue stream financial model in Excel or Google Sheets
• Translate known pricing and fee structures into an easy-to-edit model
• Include recurring revenue, one-time fees, payment timing, and churn assumptions
• Build in scenario analysis functionality (best, base, worst case)
• Create user-friendly dashboards or outputs for revenue, gross profit, and cash flow
• Update and refine the model over time as business needs evolve
• Document model logic for ease of use
Qualifications:
• Experience building complex financial models for startups, professional services, or similar industries
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills (advanced formulas, linked sheets, scenario toggling)
• Detail-oriented, accurate, and fast
• Strong English communication skills
• Bonus: experience modeling for consulting or M&A advisory businesses
Compensation:
• $5–$12/hour or fixed fee for initial model
• Flexible hours, remote
