[Remote] FINANCIAL ANALYST, CAM RECEIVABLE

The Home Depot is a leading home improvement retailer, and they are seeking a Financial Analyst to manage the financial integrity of their lease administration and property management operations. The role focuses on billing and reconciling Common Area Maintenance (CAM) and Real Estate Tax (RET) charges, managing customer receivables, and serving as the primary contact for billing inquiries. Responsibilities • Prepare and issue CAM and RET invoices and reconciliation statements to tenants and adjacent owners. • Validate billing accuracy using Lucernex, SAP, and Service Channel systems. • Resolve disputes and escalate unresolved issues with Legal, Risk Management, Building Services, and Property Management. • Monitor aging balances and initiate collection efforts. • Apply payments, credits and adjustments accurately, ensuring compliance with lease terms. • Track unapplied payments and reconcile discrepancies across multiple entities. • Research and identify new customers to be billed. • Update customer contact and payment data. • Service Rent Sharing Agreements and Mineral Leases. • Maintain detailed records of reconciliations, invoices, and correspondence in shared drives and Lucernex database. • Support quarterly VCR reporting with highlights on receivable collections. • Liaise with tenants, adjacent owners, and internal departments to resolve billing inquiries. • Participate in bi-monthly training and system improvement discussions. • Performs economic and financial research and analyzes internal and external issues related to sales, gross margin, rate of return, working capital, investment, financial performance, and other financial metrics. • Compiles or prepares reports, graphs and charts of developed data. • Conducts special financial and statistical studies as directed in coordination with other departments in the preparation of statistical studies. • Gathers and correlates basic information using established and defined financial procedures. Skills • Must be eighteen years of age or older. • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States. • 2 years of work experience. • Three years’ experience in Accounting or Finance is preferred. • Three years of experience in accounts receivable or lease administration. • Proficiency in SAP, Lucernex, and Service Channel. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Education Requirements • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
