[Remote] Externship Placement Coordinator

The Externship Placement Coordinator will coordinate the placement of students with externship sites, ensuring all required documentation, scheduling, and communication is completed successfully. Responsibilities • Manage externship placements by confirming site assignments, scheduling interviews (if required), and setting student start dates • Ensure student compliance with onboarding requirements, including background checks, drug screens, and vaccinations • Act as the primary point of contact for students and externship sites, providing updates and addressing concerns • Build and maintain strong relationships with externship sites by understanding their capacity, preferences, and onboarding processes • Maintain accurate records in internal dashboards, tracking student progress and site availability Skills • 2+ years of experience working in a higher education institution coordinating externships, or account management experience in the healthcare industry • Front, and/or Google Suite experience • Medical Assistant experience • Self motivated and able to learn quickly and independently • Strong communication skills and high attention to detail • A reliable computer that can handle multi-tasking among many online tools and video-conferencing software • High-speed internet • A quiet, professional workspace Company Overview • Stepful helps those without college degrees train for and find entry-level healthcare jobs.
