[Remote] Executive Director, Data Centre Strategy & Commercial Development

Confidential Careers is partnering with a global infrastructure and technology organization to appoint an Executive Director, Data Centre Strategy & Commercial Development. This senior leadership role will define the global commercial strategy for the data-centre sector and build partnerships with hyperscalers and enterprise clients to enhance the company's position in the industry.

Responsibilities
• Define and lead the organisation’s global commercial strategy for the data-centre sector
• Build and deepen executive-level partnerships with hyperscalers, enterprise customers, global contractors, and colocation operators
• Act as a senior industry representative at major global events and forums, enhancing the company’s visibility and influence
• Collaborate with regional presidents, managing directors, and sector leaders to identify and accelerate new growth opportunities across regions
• Provide high-level commercial guidance to product, innovation, and delivery teams to ensure solutions remain aligned with future market needs
• Mentor and empower global account managers, promoting excellence, innovation, and commercial discipline
• Track industry trends, customer strategies, and competitive developments, translating insights into actionable strategic initiatives

Skills
• A deep, established network across the global data-centre ecosystem
• Significant experience partnering with hyperscalers, enterprise customers, systems integrators, or colocation providers
• A track record of shaping and executing global commercial strategies
• Demonstrated success in securing large-scale partnerships and navigating multi-market opportunities
• Exceptional influencing skills, with the ability to operate at C-suite level and in complex, matrixed environments
• Experience leading and developing high-performing global teams
• Strong commercial acuity and the ability to anticipate shifts in customer and industry dynamics
