[Remote] Enrolled Agent / Tax Preparer – Remote (US Based Only)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Doc Wealth is a tax and advisory firm built exclusively for physicians, focusing on complex tax situations. The role involves preparing individual and business tax returns and assisting in tax planning for physician clients.
Responsibilities
• Prepare individual returns (1040) and business returns (1120-S, 1065) for physician clients
• Build and maintain workpapers and supporting documentation
• Assist with tax planning calculations - estimated payments, retirement contributions, scenario analysis
• Communicate with clients alongside your Tax Managers to keep engagements moving
• Manage your own pipeline, keep client records current, and flag issues early
Skills
• Enrolled Agent designation or CPA license required
• Minimum 2 years of experience preparing tax returns
• Experience with 1040, 1120-S, and 1065 returns
• Working knowledge of S-Corp tax strategies - reasonable compensation, Augusta Rule, retirement plan optimization, and entity election planning
• Comfort working independently and managing competing deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and consistent follow-through
