As an English Tutor at TutorChase, you will work closely with students at different educational levels to help them excel in their English courses, whether at GCSE, A-Level, IB, or AP. Your role will involve creating customised lesson plans, explaining complex literary concepts, and providing guidance on effective reading, writing, and analysis strategies.

Develop and implement personalised lesson plans tailored to each student's learning needs and goals.
Explain difficult concepts in literature, grammar, and writing in a clear, understandable, and engaging way.
Monitor and assess students' progress, providing constructive feedback and adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
Offer support with homework, essays, and exam preparation.
Maintain open communication with students and parents regarding progress and areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in tutoring or teaching English at various levels (e.g., GCSE, A-Level, IB, AP).
In-depth knowledge of at least one English curriculum and exam structure.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts effectively.
Proven track record of helping students achieve academic success in English.
