[Remote] Energy Benchmarking Specialist

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an Energy Benchmarking Specialist to support their Asset Services in benchmarking utility performance across buildings nationally. The role involves managing the Energy Star Portfolio Manager Account, assisting property teams with energy models, and ensuring compliance with municipal benchmarking requirements.ResponsibilitiesAssist in managing the C&W national Energy Star Portfolio Manager Account, which includes: Preparing energy models, collecting documentation, and troubleshooting issues to complete Energy Star Certification applicationsManaging the submission of energy and water data to city/state entities to meet local ordinancesEducating Property Teams on how to use and maintain ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager modelsResearching city and state municipal program developments and their changing requirementsDeveloping portfolio analysis tools to help identify properties with potential for certification and properties that need assistancePerforming outreach campaigns for educational and business development purposesAssisting in completing the Energy Star Partner of the Year annual applicationUtilize third-party software and platforms as need, including but not limited to: Local Utility Aggregated Data PortalsSkillsBA or BS degree in related major (environmental science, engineering, etc.)1-2 years of experience with ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager1-2 years of experience with benchmarking buildings and reporting to local ordinancesExperience with utility portals for obtaining aggregated energy dataMust be an excellent multi-tasker, organized and responsiveAble to work remotely and independentlyHigh level of experience with Microsoft Word and ExcelInterest in energy and sustainabilityGood communication skills (written and oral)BenefitsHealth, vision, and dental insuranceFlexible spending accountsHealth savings accountsRetirement savings plansLife, and disability insurance programsPaid and unpaid time away from workCompany OverviewCushman & Wakefield is a real estate services firm that offers retail investment, energy management, and property services.
