[Remote] Energy Advisor - Procurement Sales

MMC Group LP, through its subsidiary Tradition Energy, is the nation’s largest independent energy risk management and procurement consultant. They are seeking experienced Energy Advisors with a verifiable track record in deregulated electricity and natural gas markets to advise clients on procurement strategies and manage a personal book of business. Responsibilities • Advise commercial, industrial, and institutional clients on electric and natural gas procurement strategies • Lead competitive procurement events and negotiate supply agreements • Manage and grow a personal book of business with mid-to-large energy users • Deliver consultative guidance on market timing, risk management, and contract structures • Own the full sales lifecycle: prospecting, consulting, closing, and ongoing account management • Collaborate with internal analytics, pricing, and operations teams to support client outcomes Skills • 3+ years of experience in energy procurement sales (electric and/or natural gas) • Demonstrated success selling into deregulated energy markets • Quantifiable book of business (preferred benchmark: 1M+ kWh and/or 20,000+ decatherms annually) • Proven history of closing deals, managing renewals, and generating recurring revenue • Strong network of energy decision-makers (C&I, institutional, or public sector) • Ability to operate independently in a high-accountability, performance-based environment Benefits • Industry-leading compensation model with uncapped earning potential • Residual protection and transition support to help offset forfeited commissions • Dedicated operations, analytics, and market intelligence teams • Access to national and global clients with significant energy loads • Flexible work structure: remote, hybrid, or in-office by market • A platform built to support top producers—not cap them Company Overview • For over 33 years, MMC has been a trusted leader in Staffing and Payroll solutions serving the private, public, and federal sectors with unparalleled excellence.
