[Remote] EBP Audit Manager- REMOTE - 5+ Weeks PTO!

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. CyberCoders is a growing CPA firm specializing in Employee Benefit Plans (EBP) audits. The Audit Manager will oversee the auditing process, ensuring compliance with regulations while managing a team of auditors to maintain the integrity of financial reporting and provide assurance services to clients. Responsibilities • Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion, including the supervision of staff and the review of work papers. • Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) and other regulatory requirements, particularly concerning Employee Benefit Plans. • Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates on audit progress and addressing any issues that arise during the engagement. • Prepare and review audit reports, ensuring that all findings are clearly documented and communicated to stakeholders. • Provide training and mentorship to junior audit staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. • Stay current with industry trends and regulatory updates related to public accounting, ERISA, and EBP. Skills • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification required. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on audit, specifically in Employee Benefit Plans. • Strong knowledge of ERISA regulations and compliance requirements for Employee Benefit Plans. • Proven ability to manage multiple audit engagements simultaneously and meet deadlines. • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and team members. • Experience doing 15+ EBP audits per year.
