[Remote] Director, Finance Resource - IRF (Remote)

The Director of Finance- IRF supports and trains hospital Directors of Finance while directing the department's activities to ensure alignment with the organization's mission and objectives.
Responsibilities
⢠Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards that meet requirements/objectives of the organization
⢠Directs and evaluates departmental operations to achieve performance and quality control objectives
⢠Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives
⢠Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding
⢠Coordinates and directs internal/external audits
⢠Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth
⢠Ensures department stays focused on their important role in the continuum of care
⢠Ability to travel as needed
⢠Other duties as assigned
Skills
⢠Bachelor's degree required
⢠8 years of finance or accounting experience
⢠Strong background in financial budgeting
⢠Problem solving skills
⢠Proven leadership
⢠Bachelor degree in Finance, Business or Accounting preferred
⢠Healthcare experience preferred
