[Remote] Director Dev Ops

They are seeking a seasoned DevOps Manager to lead their DevOps team, focusing on enhancing the reliability, scalability, and security of their technology infrastructure. Responsibilities • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. • Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP). • Manage and enhance CI/CD pipelines to streamline code integration, testing, and deployment processes. • Implement and refine system monitoring, logging, and alerting tools to ensure uptime, performance, and rapid incident resolution. • Ensure infrastructure and deployment processes meet security best practices, compliance requirements, and data privacy regulations. • Develop and oversee automation strategies for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployments. • Work closely with software engineering, QA, and product teams to optimize the software delivery lifecycle. • Lead incident response efforts, including post-mortem analyses and implementing preventative measures. • Plan and execute infrastructure scaling strategies to support growing product demand and traffic volume. • Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure costs. Skills • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. • 5+ years of DevOps experience, with 2+ years in a leadership or managerial role. • Strong background in managing cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP). • Proficiency with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, etc.). • Infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible). • Scripting skills (Python, Bash, Go, etc.). • Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). • Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Datadog, New Relic). • Version control (Git). • Excellent leadership and people management skills. • Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking. • Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. • Experience in supply chain logistics, warehousing, or related industries. • Familiarity with compliance standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001). • Experience with serverless architecture and edge computing.
