[Remote] Digital Strategist (Remote)

Break Something is seeking a detail-oriented Digital Strategist to raise money for Democratic candidates and organizations through various digital channels. The role involves writing compelling fundraising copy, developing content calendars, and conducting research to inform content strategies. Responsibilities Write compelling and creative fundraising copy that captures a client's voice for email, ads, text messaging, social media, and direct response campaigns Develop content calendars in coordination with account managers and clients Perform thorough quality control checks on all outbound communications to ensure accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines Conduct campaign, client, or issue-specific research to inform content Coordinate A/B testing to optimize programs based on performance and client feedback Provide support to program lead and deliver copy and samples to clients as needed Other responsibilities as assigned Skills Strong communication and collaboration skills (written and verbal) Excellent command of grammar, punctuation usage, and AP style Proven ability to handle multiple tasks, work well under pressure, and meet tight deadlines Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously Familiarity with HTML/CSS for email design is a plus Basic proficiency in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel Enthusiasm for Democratic politics and causes Bonus: Experience with SMS and MMS as well as email CRMs campaign tools and platforms Benefits 100% employer-paid premiums for platinum-level medical plan on a national health care network 100% employer-paid vision and dental insurance 401(k) with 5% employer match and immediate vesting 12 paid holidays, 20 days of paid time off, sick leave, and bereavement leave Summer and/or Winter Fridays (cycle dependent) Paid parental and medical leave at 100% of your salary Company issued Mac laptops Regular stipends and/or reimbursement for: Cell phone service, wellness, home office, meals and more.
