Remote Digital Marketing Leader - American Express ($30/Hour)

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Marketing professional to join our team as a Ranking Director, Paid Media. As a key member of our American Express team, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue and digital financial products for small businesses, including American Express Business Outline.
In this exciting role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans for paid digital media marketing campaigns to drive awareness, acquisition, and engagement at scale. You will have the opportunity to work with a collaborative team and build strong cross-functional relationships to drive business growth and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and develop media channel strategies that directly align with Business Outline needs
Identify valuable opportunities to drive growth and optimize marketing, including new channels, platforms, creative, messaging, audiences, and segmentation
Launch media campaigns tied to key business initiatives, including new product launches, limited-time offers, new benefits, and more
Manage channel budget, media planning, and forecasting activities
Oversee relationships with external media agencies, as well as key external media partners and platforms
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop a robust channel test-and-learn plan, optimize programs, and develop the performance story for the channel
Develop media strategy for a cookieless future, including a test and learn plan for new capabilities/solutions
Leverage internal and external reporting to monitor campaign KPI performance
Lead with an external perspective by staying up-to-date on industry trends and developments, as well as maintaining relationships with Media teams across Amex, identifying opportunities for collaboration
Lead a team of two direct reports responsible for end-to-end campaign execution, day-to-day channel management, and creative agency oversight
Minimum Qualifications:
Relevant digital marketing experience
Experience managing direct reports
Self-starter with the ability to independently navigate large organizations and processes
Strong analytical skills combined with the ability to communicate results and learnings clearly
Experience managing large budgets and campaigns across multiple advertising channels
Ability to quickly pivot priorities based on changes in internal or external landscape
Ability to develop strong relationships both internally and externally
Bachelor's degree
