Position Summary Join our dynamic remote learning munity in delivering prehensive educational services to students who are deaf and hard of hearing. This full-time position bines direct instruction, language development, and collaborative support through state-of-the-art virtual technology.
Educational Programming
• Multi-grade level instruction for students with hearing loss
• Academic content delivery with visual munication methods
• Language and literacy development across munication modalities
• Auditory skill development and training
• Social-emotional learning and self-advocacy skills
• Transition planning and career readiness preparation
Professional Duties
• Specialized virtual instruction and curriculum delivery
• Individual and small group teaching sessions
• IEP goal development and progress monitoring
• Hearing technology coordination and support
• Parent education and family engagement
• Interdisciplinary team collaboration
• Assessment and evaluation services
Essential Credentials
• Master's degree in Deaf and Hard of Hearing Education or related field
• Current Nevada Deaf and Hard of Hearing teaching certification
• Two years minimum experience in deaf/hard of hearing education
• American Sign Language proficiency required
• Understanding of audiology and hearing technology
• Remote teaching capabilities preferred
• Excellent munication and organizational abilities
