Crossover is seeking a DevOps Architect to join their team, focusing on architecting streamlined replacements for fragmented legacy systems. The role involves orchestrating infrastructure migrations, implementing monitoring and automation, and ensuring high availability across a portfolio of products in a unified AWS environment. Responsibilities • Orchestrating and executing intricate infrastructure transformations, including transitions from legacy environments to AWS cloud platforms and lift-and-shift migration projects • Architecting and deploying monitoring strategies and creating automation for monitoring systems, software releases, and operational processes • Conducting system monitoring, backup operations, incident management, database migrations, database configuration, and bolthires reduction initiatives Skills • Extensive AWS infrastructure knowledge (this is our core platform - experience with other cloud providers alone is insufficient) • Proficiency scripting in Python and Bash for routine administrative tasks • Demonstrated experience managing and migrating production databases across multiple engines (including MySql, Postgres, Oracle, MS-SQL) • Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation) • Strong Linux systems administration background Company Overview • Crossover is a global recruitment company, founded in 2014.It was founded in 2010, and is headquartered in Austin, TX, US, with a workforce of 5001-10000 employees.
