As a DataPower Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving success and excellence in our non-APIC DataPower environments. Job Highlights:

3-6 month contract with possible extensions
Fully remote work arrangement with optional on-site visits

Responsibilities:

Deploy new devices in DataPower environments and troubleshoot common issues
Work independently to support the full lifecycle of the infrastructure platform
Manage certificates, firmware updates, and migrate between form factors
Create and use dashboards, reports, and alerts to monitor system health and identify issues
Perform root cause analysis and implement best practice and procedural enhancements

Requirements:

Experience as a DataPower admin/engineer (no developers)
Ability to convert without sponsorship (GC or USC)
Availability for 2-day shift and 1 overnight shift (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM ET, Tues-Sat night)
Strong understanding of DataPower infrastructure and APIC experience (a plus)

Bonus Skills:

API Connect, including APIC v10
APIC and DataPower on OpenShift / Kubernetes / Cloud Pak for Integration
Automation capability using shell, python, ansible, or similar
Dashboarding, reporting, and alerting using Splunk or similar tools
