[Remote] Data Strategist & Automation Specialist

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Swoon is hiring a Data Strategy & Automation Specialist to support a large-scale data modernization effort. This role involves building and optimizing Power BI dashboards, integrating data from various sources, and automating reporting workflows to enhance analytics capabilities. Responsibilities • Build and optimize Power BI dashboards using strong data modeling and DAX • Partner with data engineers to integrate data from SQL, APIs, and cloud platforms • Automate reporting workflows using cloud-based workflow tools • Support reporting during platform transitions and modernization initiatives • Improve data quality, performance, and self-service analytics Skills • Must be able to work on W2 without sponsorship now or in the future • C2C/3rd parties not accepted • Proven Power BI experience (DAX, Power Query, data modeling) • Strong SQL skills • Experience in cloud environments (Azure preferred) • Hands-on exposure to automation and workflow optimization • Comfortable working with multiple data sources and ambiguity • Databricks, Synapse, or Snowflake exposure • Experience with data pipelines, migrations, or operational reporting Company Overview • In 2010, Swoon launched an agile, client-focused team that is not only savvy in our core industries but elbow-deep, every day, getting to know the strongest talent in the technology and professional fields.
