Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist II to spearhead complex analytical challenges by leading and mentoring a talented team of Data Analysts and Data Scientists. This role demands the application of advanced coding and modeling expertise to generate critical outputs for various analytics initiatives. You will collaborate closely with project teams to advance big data analytics projects, ensuring the precise execution of intricate tasks while delivering invaluable insights and actionable recommendations to our esteemed clients.
Key Responsibilities
Β Guide daily operations in partnership with case managers to transform analyses into influential findings and strategic recommendations.
Β Supervise analytical workflows, promoting the standardization and enhancement of essential analytical project types.
Β Provide mentorship and support to junior Data Analysts and Data Scientists, ensuring proficient project management and execution.
Required Skills
Β Minimum of 5 years of experience in consulting or within the pharmaceutical/biotechnology sectors.
Β Proficient in data manipulation and analysis utilizing SQL, Python, R, SAS, and Excel (including Power Query and VBA).
Β Familiarity with statistical testing and machine learning methods, encompassing supervised/unsupervised learning and automation learning techniques.
Β Acquainted with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Snowflake) for extensive data analysis.
Β Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Qlik Sense.
Β Knowledge of healthcare datasets (e.g., Komodo, IQVIA, Symphony, Truven, Optum) is beneficial.
Β Capability to manage multiple substantial projects while participating in the formulation and development of analytical strategies.
