About the Role: Call Center Representative We're seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Remote Data Entry Specialist to join our team as a Call Center Representative. This full-time position is an exciting opportunity to work with Walgreens, a company that is at the forefront of healthcare innovation. As a Remote Data Entry Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of patient information, handling customer inquiries, and resolving data entry-related issues. Key Responsibilities: Utilize Walgreens' data entry guidelines and procedures to accurately process new patient enrollments by entering information into the appropriate systems. Handle patient prescription requests in compliance with HIPAA regulations and enter refill orders for processing. Research and resolve missing prescription information, interpret clinical abbreviations (SIG codes), and settle all data entry-related exceptions. Manage inbound and outbound communications with patients, prescribers, and insurance companies to resolve queries and obtain necessary information. Provide support to pharmacists across different locations, identifying and escalating issues to senior-level staff as needed. Obtain and maintain a valid professional license or certification within the first 90 days of employment and keep it active throughout your tenure. Essential Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Basic computer skills, including the ability to start and shut down the computer, use the mouse, launch and close programs, switch between programs, save files, print documents, and access information online. Basic web navigation skills, such as opening a browser, typing URLs, using a search engine, bookmarking websites, and completing online forms. Intermediate-level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM), with the ability to type by memory and format documents. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Must be at least 18 years old. Preferred Qualifications: At least 1 year of pharmacy experience in a retail or call center environment. A minimum of 1.5 years of experience as a pharmacy technician with certification/registration by the State Board of Pharmacy or a widely recognized certifying agency. Experience providing customer service to both internal and external customers, with a focus on meeting quality standards and assessing customer satisfaction. Intermediate to advanced keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM), with the ability to type by memory and format documents. Proficiency in both Spanish and English.
