This is a contract position lasting 3-4 months, with the strong possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent role for the right candidate.

What You'll Do

As a Remote Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for accurately inputting and managing critical information within our client's internal and external systems. Your attention to detail will ensure data integrity and support seamless business operations for organizations relying on precise payroll processing and information management.

Key Responsibilities


Data Entry & System Management: Perform accurate data entry tasks by inputting and loading client employee payroll information and personal employee data into designated databases. Ensure all information is entered correctly and timely to facilitate efficient payroll processing for our clients.
Information Updates: Update and maintain client and company-level information, including delivery address changes, contact information updates, and other account modifications. Keep all records current and accurate to support uninterrupted business operations.
Regulatory Compliance Support: Input State Unemployment Insurance rate changes into the system to ensure the integrity of client tax calculations and compliance with state regulations. Your accuracy in this area helps prevent costly errors and maintains regulatory compliance.
Quality Assurance: Review entered data for accuracy and completeness, identifying and correcting any discrepancies or errors in the information database.
Communication: Collaborate with team members and supervisors to clarify data requirements and ensure seamless workflow integration.


Work Environment & Schedule

At arenaflex, we understand the importance of work-life balance. This position offers flexible work arrangements to suit your lifestyle. You can choose to work directly at our client's office location in Charlotte, NC, or opt for a hybrid arrangement that combines working from home some days with in-office presence on other days. Our client will provide all necessary equipment, including a computer, monitor, and other required accessories, enabling you to set up a productive home office workspace.

The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, providing you with consistent weekday hours and weekends free. This predictable schedule allows you to plan your personal commitments around your work responsibilities effectively.

Compensation & Benefits

We value your time and expertise at arenaflex. This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $16.00 to $21.00 per hour, commensurate with your experience and qualifications. The pay range reflects our commitment to recognizing skilled professionals who contribute to our organization's success.

While this is initially a contract position, arenaflex is committed to supporting your career growth. What We're Looking For

Essential Qualifications


Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of professional data entry experience, demonstrating proficiency in handling high-volume information input tasks.
Technical Skills: Basic Microsoft Excel experience and solid computer knowledge are essential for success in this role. You should be comfortable navigating spreadsheet applications and various database systems.
Location: Must be able to reliably commute to the Charlotte, NC area (specifically ZIP code 14620) or be willing to relocate before starting work.


Preferred Qualifications


Previous experience in payroll data entry or related financial information processing
Familiarity with HRIS systems or payroll management software
Strong typing speed and accuracy
