What You’ll Do

As a key member of our data management team, you will be responsible for entering, maintaining, and organizing critical business information. Your daily responsibilities will include:


Accurate Data Entry: Systematically enter and maintain sales data, customer information, and market research findings into our centralized database systems with precision and attention to detail.
Data Quality Assurance: Perform comprehensive data quality checks to ensure all entered information is accurate, complete, and meets established quality standards.
Data Cleanup Projects: Assist with ongoing data cleanup initiatives, including de-duplication efforts to eliminate redundant records and improve database efficiency.
Sales Team Collaboration: Work closely with our sales department to ensure all customer data is current, accurate, and reflects the most up-to-date information available.
Reporting & Analysis: Prepare detailed reports and analytical summaries using company data to support business decision-making processes.
Process Optimization: Utilize advanced data entry software and tools to increase efficiency, reduce errors, and streamline data management workflows.
Issue Resolution: Communicate any data discrepancies, inconsistencies, or technical issues to the appropriate team members in a timely manner.
Compliance & Confidentiality: Adhere strictly to all company policies and procedures regarding data entry, confidentiality, and information security.


What We’re Looking For

Essential Qualifications


High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in a related field is preferred
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in data entry or a related administrative field
Fast and accurate typing skills with a minimum speed of 50 words per minute
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
Experience with data entry software and database management systems
Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational abilities
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with complete discretion
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve data inconsistencies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must currently reside in the Houston, Texas area


Preferred Skills & Experience


Previous experience in market research or sales support roles
Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot
Knowledge of data validation techniques and best practices
Experience with data visualization tools
Understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance requirements
