The Opportunity As a Remote Data Entry Specialist with Vitality, you will play a critical role in providing excellent customer service by quickly and accurately processing submissions sent electronically by our members. Your primary responsibilities will include: Comparing data with source documents submitted by members, checking for accuracy and ensuring supporting documentation meets specified requirements Consistently meeting the established daily quota for data entry tasks Handling personal and confidential member information in compliance with HIPAA regulations Understanding and following specific instructions and procedures Accurately documenting and recording member information Performing other duties as assigned Key Responsibilities As a Remote Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for: Data Entry and Customer Service Processing data entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency, meeting daily quotas and productivity standards Providing exceptional customer service through timely and effective communication with members Resolving data discrepancies and issues in a professional and courteous manner Data Accuracy and Compliance Verifying data for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive member information with discretion Adhering to HIPAA guidelines and company policies for data protection and security Technical and Administrative Tasks Utilizing computer software and hardware to perform data entry tasks, including Microsoft Office and other productivity tools Troubleshooting technical issues and resolving problems in a timely and efficient manner Maintaining organized and detailed records, reports, and documentation Requirements and Qualifications To succeed as a Remote Data Entry Specialist with Vitality, you will need: Essential Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred Proficient in PC operations and navigation, with experience using Microsoft Office and other productivity software Exceptional attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy and efficiency in data entry tasks Strong written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with members and team members Desire and ability to be a team player, with a positive and professional attitude Preferred Experience Experience with data entry and CRM software, including familiarity with database management and reporting tools Previous experience in a data entry or customer service role, with a proven track record of accuracy and productivity Work Environment and Requirements As a Remote Data Entry Specialist, you will work from home and will need: Reliable internet service with 10MB upload/download ability A quiet and private workspace, free from distractions and interruptions Benefits and Compensation At Vitality, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including: Competitive salary of $12.50/hour 401(k) with match on eligible contributions Medical, Dental, Vision with nationwide coverage Company-paid Life Insurance (Life/AD&D) Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays) Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity) Company-paid Short Term & Long Term Disability Wellness resources and support Career Growth and Learning Opportunities At Vitality, we're committed to the growth and development of our team members.
