As a Data Entry Operator, your primary responsibilities will include:
Collecting and entering data into databases with high accuracy and attention to detail
Maintaining accurate records of valuable company information
Compiling, verifying, and sorting information to prepare source data for computer entry
Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors and correcting any incompatibilities
In this role, you will work closely with our data team and Data Manager to ensure the seamless operation of our data management systems. If you have previous experience as a Data Entry Clerk or in a similar position, you will be considered an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Enter customer and account data from source documents within time limits
Compile, verify accuracy, and sort information to prepare source data for computer entry
Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities, and check output
Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents
Scan documents and print files as needed
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data integrity and security policies
Requirements:
Proven data entry work experience as a Data Entry Operator or Office Clerk
Experience with MS Office and data programs
Familiarity with administrative duties
Experience using office equipment, such as fax machines and scanners
High typing speed and accuracy
Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation
Attention to detail and organizational skills
High school diploma; additional computer training or certification is an asset
