Why This Role Matters
In today’s fast‑paced retail environment, accurate and timely pricing data is the backbone of revenue optimization. As a Data Entry Assistant at arenaflex, you will be the essential bridge between merchant teams, store operations, and our enterprise systems. Your meticulous attention to detail and analytical mindset will ensure that every promotional, clearance, and permanent price change is captured flawlessly, supporting the company’s commitment to price integrity, cost transparency, and exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities – What You’ll Own Every Day

Price Change Management: Review, validate, and enter all price change requests submitted by the merchant organization into Oracle Retail and SAP eCommerce platforms.
Discrepancy Detection: Apply a keen eye for data anomalies to spot inconsistencies, flag potential issues, and initiate corrective actions before they impact store shelves or online listings.
Complex Promotion Handling: Decode intricate promotional pricing structures—such as tiered discounts, bundle offers, and clearance events—and accurately map them into system configurations.
Cost Update Coordination: Input store‑submitted cost changes, ensuring that margin calculations reflect the most current supplier pricing.
Purchase Order (PO) Support: Collaborate with the Accounts Payable (AP) team to reopen PO records for invoice submission, maintaining financial compliance.
Reporting & Analytics: Generate, review, and distribute weekly price change reports to stakeholders, providing insight into pricing trends and operational performance.
Ad‑hoc Item Maintenance: Assist with item creation, attribute updates, and other data stewardship tasks that keep the product catalogue current.
Cross‑Division Collaboration: Partner with General Merchandise and other business divisions throughout the fiscal year, adapting to shifting priorities and workload spikes.
Continuous Improvement: Propose process enhancements, automation opportunities, and best‑practice guidelines to elevate data entry efficiency and accuracy.
