You will also be required to research and install healthcare provider contracts, verify provider information, and ensure contract accuracy and database loading. Your attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work independently will be essential in this position.

Key Responsibilities

Scrubbing, researching, and validating provider contract records to ensure accuracy and completeness
Updating status in customer systems to reflect changes and updates
Researching and installing healthcare provider contracts, including verification of provider information and contract accuracy
Retrieving and entering data from computer/web-based systems, files, and other documents
Analyzing information collected to identify potential problems and discrepancies
Ensuring accurate and timely completion of transactions to meet or exceed client Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
Applying healthcare and insurance domain knowledge, theoretical concepts, and problem-solving skills to undertake complex tasks
Identifying and resolving routine and non-routine problems, and escalating issues to more proficient team members as needed
Monitoring email boxes and responding to inquiries in a professional and timely manner


Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

At least 1 year of experience in a role that required a focus on quality, including attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability for your work
At least 1 year of experience in a professional/office-related environment, such as office support, data entry, clerical, or customer service
At least 1 year of experience using a computer with Windows applications, including keyboard navigation, multiple screen management, and learning new software tools
An education level of at least a high school diploma or GED


Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following skills and qualifications are highly desirable:

Ability to communicate effectively in a professional/office setting, both orally and in writing
Effective troubleshooting skills, including research, analysis, and problem-solving abilities
Time management skills, with the ability to cope with a complex, changing environment
Knowledge of AS400, Windows-based systems, Excel Spreadsheets, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
