As a Data Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data engineering solutions, leveraging your expertise in data analysis, cloud computing, and software development. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Designing, implementing, and supporting data engineering solutions using Azure products and services, such as Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Databricks
Working closely with source data application teams and product owners to design and implement analytics solutions that provide insights for better decision-making
Performing various aspects of the development lifecycle, including design, cloud engineering, ingestion, deployment, data modeling, testing, and execution
Providing technical leadership and collaborating within a team environment, as well as working independently
Driving the improvement of coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines
To succeed in this role, you will need:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline
At least 3 years of experience in software development using agile, DevOps, and cloud computing technologies
Strong data analysis skills, with experience using SQL and data visualization tools
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
