Remote Data Contributor for Young Students (No experience needed)
Position: Data Contributor Study Location: Remote Task duration: Up to 45 hour Engagement Model: One-time, task based At DataForce by TransPerfect we’re currently seeking participants residing in the USA to join our Kapop Remote Audio Collection project What is the project about? The purpose of this project is to improve speech recognition technology for educational settings. By collecting natural speech from children, we’re helping make voice assistants more accurate and effective for classroom use. Task description: With your help, your child(ren) will: • Read a short passage aloud. • Answer a few fun and engaging questions about what they read, just like they would in school! • Have their responses recorded using our easy-to-use mobile app. Who is eligible? To participate you should meet the following qualifying criteria: • Be over 18 years old. • Be the legal guardian of the child(ren) you are registering and sign the Parental Consent Form. • Have a smartphone device to download our app and use it for recording. Each child you register should meet the following qualifying criteria: • Be in the 2nd or 3rd grade (typically between ages 7-9). • Be a resident of the United States. • Be a native speaker of English (US). Where is the project taking place? This is a fully remote project. You can participate from the comfort of your home. How much is the compensation? You will receive up to $70 USD for your participation. General Referral Bonus Program We offer a referral bonus of $20 USD for each participant that you refer to the project who successfully completes 3 quality approved tasks. How long does it take? We estimate it will take up to 45 minutes to complete all the tasks.
