Key Responsibilities:
Participate in project-specific design review processes, focusing on reducing total cost of ownership (TCO) while maintaining Google standards
Collaborate with consulting engineers to develop construction documents and detailed design standards
Work closely with general contractors to ensure timely completion of design details and assigned design elements
Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with Google's design intent, local codes, and regulations
Provide technical support for startup and commissioning processes, ensuring seamless system integration and operation
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
At least 2 years of experience in designing and operating critical facilities, such as data centers, power plants, or industrial settings
Proficiency in assessing, designing, and commissioning central utility plants, water treatment systems, air distribution systems, and PLC/SCADA control systems
Preferred qualifications: Professional Engineering License, experience with project TCO, construction management, and large-scale critical facility mechanical systems
