This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Data Architect - REMOTE. In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive the development of modern cloud-based solutions that will impact the operations of federal courts across the United States. Your contributions will play a vital role in enhancing data governance, compliance, and analytical capabilities within a secured environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data standards and ensure quality throughout the data lifecycle. This position offers a chance to help shape future data strategies and infrastructures while working remotely.

Responsibilities
• Develop and implement data classification standards for sensitive data.
• Facilitate workshops for defining security controls and data handling requirements.
• Align classification outputs with judiciary risk tolerance and operational needs.
• Integrate classification metadata into catalog structures based on standards.
• Design and maintain enterprise data models for reporting and analytics.
• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure effective ETL/ELT implementations.
• Support data quality and integrity across integrated source systems.
• Create training materials and provide support for user adoption.

Requirements
• BA/BS and 8+ years of experience in information systems or equivalent.
• Expertise in data architecture and data modeling roles.
• Proven skills in logical, physical, and dimensional data modeling.
• Strong SQL skills and understanding of relational databases.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS preferred).
• Ability to produce structured, audit-ready data documentation.
• Familiarity with data governance and metadata management tools.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake data modeling.
