Remote Data Analyst – Telecom & Infrastructure Projects
Job Summary
Network Controls & Electric, Inc. is looking for a Remote Data Analyst to support data-driven decisions across our network infrastructure projects. You will collect, analyze, and visualize operational data to help improve performance and efficiency.
Duties
• Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business strategies.
• Develop and maintain dashboards using tools such as Power BI to visualize key performance indicators.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Utilize SQL for querying databases and extracting relevant data for analysis.
• Participate in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) by providing input on data requirements and analytics solutions.
• Create process documentation using Visio to illustrate workflows and data processes.
• Conduct business analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning initiatives.
• Employ statistical programming languages like R for advanced analytics and predictive modeling.
Requirements
• Proficiency in SQL for database management and data extraction.
• Experience with analytics tools such as Power BI for data visualization.
• Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles.
• Knowledge of business analysis methodologies to effectively gather requirements.
• Experience using Visio for process mapping is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey findings clearly to stakeholders.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with a keen attention to detail.
