Job Responsibilities:
??Collect information about data sources, data flows, information consumption, and information production to aid in current state assessments
Create reports and data content creation to answer business questions
Data requirements, information sources, and data flows for reports and processes should be traced
Proactively analyze data to answer important questions from stakeholders or out of self-initiated curiosity about what drives business performance, investigating and communicating areas for efficiency and productivity improvement
Create project deliverables that itemize and summarize information to aid comprehension and decision making
Work with team members and client stakeholders to comprehend analytic requirements and deliver actionable insights
Maintain an opinion on the market's leading data management solutions, such as business intelligence, data governance, data catalog, and data quality solutions
Job Requirements:
Bachelors/Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a data analyst
Familiarity with the investment management industry
Expertise in working with common data management operations
Expertise in Power BI and Tableau is required
Proficient in design and implementation of both online dashboards and printed page reports are required
Must be familiar with version control and life cycle management of report artifacts
Competency in Data modeling for investment data domains, including security master, accounts, holdings, etc., is nice to have
Knowledge of SQL and Excel skills with the ability to learn other analytic tools is a must
Familiarity with data management conventions and best practices is preferred
Strong communication skills
