[Remote] Cypress QA Automation Engineer

Augusta Hitech is seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Cypress QA Automation Engineer to enhance their QA automation initiative. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks to ensure high-quality software delivery. Responsibilities • Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress for web applications and APIs • Maintain and update automation framework and tools to keep them efficient and aligned with the latest technologies and requirements • Work closely with the development and QA teams to comprehensive test coverage • Integrate automation scripts into the Azure DevOps bolthires/CD pipeline • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve automation-related issues and failures Skills • 8+ years of experience in QA automation, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in Cypress • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript for developing test scripts • Knowledge of version control systems like Git • Hands-on experience integrating automation scripts into bolthires/CD pipelines • Familiarity with test management tools (Azure DevOps Test Plan or JIRA) • Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and RESTful APIs • Exposure to additional testing tools like Postman, Selenium, or Playwright • Familiarity with tools like Postman, Swagger, or similar for API testing Company Overview • Augusta Hitech develops high-complexity integrated technology systems with the expertise of a global leader and the efficiency of a young company propelled by innovation.It was founded in 2009, and is headquartered in West Lafayette, Indiana, USA, with a workforce of 201-500 employees.
