[Remote] Cyber Risk Advisory Consultant

The Cyber Risk Advisory Consultant will play a senior delivery role on client engagements, oversee project management, and develop cyber expertise while supporting a team of analysts. Responsibilities • Play a senior delivery role on client engagements, including framework assessments, strategic advisory, training exercises, and threat intelligence assessments • Oversee technical implementational plans, organising sub-contractors and collaboration with internal teams to deliver timely, successful results • Develop your own cyber expertise and share it with the wider team through internal initiatives and programs Skills • 2+ years' experience in an information security role • Prior consulting experience • Excellent writing skills and attention to detail • Experience and confidence in presenting verbal updates to both technical and non-technical stakeholders • Demonstrable knowledge of various security frameworks, standards, and control libraries such as CIS, ISO, and NIST • Demonstrable knowledge of information security principles, tools, technologies and techniques • Demonstrable knowledge of security risk management methodologies • All candidates must have permission to work in the US by the start of their employment • Academic cybersecurity or IT qualifications • Industry accreditation such as SANS Institute, Security+, CISM, CISSP or ISO27001 • Technical capabilities in cloud computing • Technical capabilities in offensive security practices and techniques • Technical capabilities in system administration experience Benefits • 20 days holiday per year in addition to 12 public holidays (+1 day for every day of service up to a maximum of 25 days) • Life insurance – 4x annual salary • Matching pension contribution up to 6% (up to a maximum of 12% combined), and financial education • Military Leave– to a maximum of 5 years • Hybrid working and flexible working hours • Fertility treatment leave – 5 days of leave per cycle of treatment per year • Maternity leave – 26 weeks of full pay followed by 13 weeks of half pay • Paternity leave – 6 weeks of full pay • 100% Company paid private medical, dental and vision insurance for employee, partner and children • Gym discounts for you and your partner • EAP programme for you and your immediate family • Free access to the world-famous mindfulness app Headspace Company Overview • S-RM is a global intelligence and cyber security consultancy.
