[Remote] Customs/Import Contract Attorney – Major Technology Company

Bridgeline Solutions is a leading global technology company seeking an experienced Customs/Import Contract Attorney for a 12-month remote engagement. The role involves providing strategic legal counsel on U.S. import compliance, conducting tariff impact assessments, and collaborating cross-functionally to mitigate compliance risks.
Responsibilities
• Provide strategic legal counsel on U.S. import compliance
• Conduct tariff impact assessments
• Collaborate cross-functionally to mitigate compliance risks
• Develop global trade compliance programs
Skills
• J.D. degree with active U.S. state bar membership (or foreign equivalent)
• 8+ years of legal experience, including 5+ years counseling on U.S. import laws (in-house or law firm)
• Strong expertise in HTS classification, country of origin determinations, marking requirements, and U.S. tariffs (IEEPA, Sections 232 and 301)
• Proven ability to draft global trade compliance contract provisions
• Strong program management skills
• Immediate start preferred
