[Remote] Customer Service Specialist

They are seeking a Customer Service Specialist to handle incoming calls from patients, manage resolutions, and assist in meeting business needs within the revenue cycle.ResponsibilitiesAnswering patient questions regarding statementsPosting guarantor paymentsSetting up payment plans within our policiesResearching and resolving issues with accounts that have been identified by patientsReaching out to appropriate departments to resolve any requests made by patients connecting patients with financial counseling department for charity screeningCommunicating patient balancesMeeting collection goals as set by department, and providing excellent customer service for all of our patientsMust have knowledge of all areas of the Revenue CycleCommunicate and partner with other areas of Ensemble and Revenue Cycle to resolve customer service issuesPerforms other duties as assignedSkillsCustomer Service and Call Center experience preferred1-2 years experience in healthcare industry preferredMinimum Education: High School Diploma or GEDCertifications: CRCR within 9 months of hireMust be inquisitive and demonstrate openness to innovation including AI to explore better processes and ways to alleviate friction and improve patient and client experiencesThis is a remote position; however, candidates must be willing and able to travel to and work onsite at client, temporary, or corporate office locations as business needs requireExperience in physician and hospital operationsCompliance and provider relationsCritical ThinkingProblem ResolutionAbility to work in a remote work environmentBenefitsBonus IncentivesPaid CertificationsTuition ReimbursementComprehensive BenefitsCareer AdvancementCompany OverviewEnsemble Health Partners is the leading revenue cycle management company for hospitals, health systems and physician practices.
