Position Overview

As a Remote Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be the frontline of our client operations, handling inbound customer inquiries with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency. This position requires individuals who are detail-oriented, self-motivated, and committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences.

The work schedule follows a structured training period followed by flexible scheduling within our hours of operation. All team members will be assigned an on-call week each month to assist with outage support, ensuring our customers receive uninterrupted service.

Compensation and Schedule Details


Hourly Rate: $15.00 per hour
Paid Training Start Date: Wednesday, April 17, 2024
Training Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST (2 weeks classroom training + 1 week nesting period)
Regular Hours of Operation: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM EST (following completion of training)
On-Call Requirement: All agents will be assigned an on-call week each month to assist with outage support


Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:


Customer Inquiry Resolution: Assist customers with questions, concerns, and issues in a timely and professional manner. Your goal is to resolve each interaction to the customer's satisfaction while upholding company standards.
Accurate Documentation: Ensure all account information is accurately documented and entered into the client system. Precision is critical in maintaining customer trust and data integrity.
Account Status Explanations: Provide detailed, clear explanations of account status and customer inquiries. You will serve as a knowledgeable resource helping customers understand their accounts.
Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to State and Federal regulations pertaining to your job duties. Maintaining compliance protects both our customers and our organization.
Delinquent Account Assistance: Assist customers with delinquent accounts according to various state guidelines. This requires sensitivity, professionalism, and adherence to established protocols.
Product and Service Education: Consistently discuss additional product and service offerings with customers on qualified calls. Identifying opportunities to help customers discover value-added services.
Communication Excellence: Utilize exceptional communication skills to fulfill both client and customer goals. Every interaction is an opportunity to build lasting relationships.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

We are seeking candidates who possess the following:

Essential Qualifications


Education: High School graduate or equivalent is required
Technical Skills: Proficient with Microsoft applications and the ability to learn new software applications quickly
Organizational Abilities: Detail-oriented with the ability to organize and prioritize work effectively
Time Management: Ability to meet strict deadlines while maintaining quality
Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with external parties
Call Handling: Strong call handling skills and high levels of professionalism
Attendance Commitment: A strong focus on exemplary shift attendance is required


Preferred Qualifications


One to two years of experience working in a call center environment
Previous experience in customer-facing roles
Familiarity with account management or financial services


Technical Requirements for Remote Work

To ensure a successful remote work experience, candidates must meet the following minimum technical requirements:


Internet Connection: Broadband internet connection (No DSL or Dial Up)
Connection Type: Hard wired connection required (No Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi hotspots)
Speed Requirements: Minimum 25 mbps download speed and 20 mbps upload speed


Note: Cameras are required to be on during training from start to end of each shift (not including breaks and lunches) to ensure engagement and participation.
