As a key member of our customer service team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional support to borrowers, helping them navigate their repayment options and manage their student loan debt. About the Role As a Remote Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be the primary point of contact for borrowers, providing them with personalized support and guidance on their student loan queries. Your expertise and professionalism will be instrumental in ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service, resolving their inquiries efficiently, and providing them with the necessary tools to manage their debt effectively. Key Responsibilities Respond to incoming borrower calls, chats, and make outbound calls in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring timely and effective communication. Counsel and inform borrowers of their repayment options, deferments, and forbearance eligibility, taking payments and updating their accounts in an efficient and secure manner. Locate needed information quickly, minimizing hold times for borrowers and ensuring that their queries are resolved promptly. Maintain the security and privacy of borrower information, protecting both the borrower and our partners. Work an 8-hour shift with a 1-hour lunch and two 15-minute breaks, adhering to our scheduling requirements. Demonstrate strong computer skills, utilizing our technology platforms to manage borrower interactions and perform tasks efficiently. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; some college or bachelor's degree preferred. Ability to pass a pre-employment cognitive and personality assessment. Eligibility to obtain a Federal 5C Security Clearance and credit check. Residence in or near the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Excellent organization, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to multitask, typing while talking to borrowers. Access to home internet with at least 10 mg capacity and a router for ethernet connection. A dedicated workspace at home that is free from noise and distractions.
