Job Overview In this role, you will provide telephone assistance to Medicaid members and providers, addressing a wide range of inquiries, from eligibility and provider changes to requests for ID cards. Your goal will be to deliver an exceptional experience to our callers every time, leveraging your strong customer skills to resolve issues efficiently and effectively. As a Remote Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to making healthcare more personal, convenient, and affordable. Key Responsibilities: Answer incoming member and provider calls, responding to inquiries regarding benefits, eligibility, services, prior authorization requirements, extra benefits, and programs. Utilize high-speed internet connectivity via an ethernet cable (Wi-Fi not permitted) to ensure secure and reliable service. Participate in comprehensive training provided by arenaflex, which includes equipment and ongoing support to ensure your success. Adhere to the training schedule (first 6 weeks: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday) and production schedule (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday). Requirements for Success To excel in this position, you must meet the following requirements: Required Qualifications: Reside within 50 miles of Charleston, WV, and be able to commute to the office when necessary due to prolonged technical issues. Demonstrate effective communication skills, both orally and in written form, to engage with members and providers. Meet performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality goals, showcasing your ability to work independently and manage your time efficiently. Prove self-sufficiency in a remote work environment, leveraging your organizational skills to maintain productivity. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working remotely in a call center setting, with a proven track record of success in similar roles. Familiarity with Medicaid and Medicare, demonstrating your understanding of healthcare systems and regulations. Education and Compensation A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
