Key Responsibilities
Ā Serve as the primary point of contact for patients and healthcare providers, handling inquiries via phone and email.
Ā Deliver accurate information on medical services, insurance coverage, and payment options.
Ā Collect and verify insurance details to guarantee precise eligibility and benefits documentation.
Ā Assist patients with payment plans and financial assistance as needed.
Required Skills
Ā Proficiency in typing at least 30 words per minute.
Ā A minimum of 1 year experience in a healthcare or medical call center environment.
Ā Familiarity with benefit verification and prior authorization processes.
Ā Experience in medical collections, medical insurance, and prescriptions.
Ā Knowledge of healthcare benefits including co-pays, co-insurance, and deductibles.
Ā Understanding of HIPAA regulations.
Ā Experience with patient assistance programs (PAP).
Qualifications
Ā High school diploma or equivalent (must be verifiable).
Compensation And Benefits
Ā Competitive pay rate of (18-)20 per hour, commensurate with experience.
