Remote Customer Service Agent - American Airlines ($24/hour)

As a Customer Service Agent, you will collaborate with customers in a courteous, professional, friendly, and expert manner, providing top-notch service and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. In this role, you will: Issue, reissue, and refund traveler tickets Book, ticket, and confirm flight reservations Rebook travelers on oversold flights and during irregular operations Perform passenger check-in and front seat assignment Issue vouchers and direct contractors for passenger lodging, meals, and transportation Work gate reader/scanner and related duties, including pre-boarding and monitoring/checking carry-on items Operate jetways/bridges for boarding and deplaning passengers Make boarding and departure gate announcements Convey domestic/international flight information Perform passenger service flight close-out procedures Accept, check, and label passengers' baggage at destination points Maintain schedule of flight boarding process Process and complete credit card baggage transactions Assist passengers with self-service kiosk check-in and kiosk baggage processing Line queues at ticket counter stands and ticket counters Clear/confirm international documents at kiosk in the ticket counter area Accept and activate passengers' self-labeled bags at activation stations Assist clients requiring special assistance or in-station Perform client service work related to handling regional flights and contractor/ground handling arrangements To be successful in this role, you will need: Bachelor's degree Bilingual language skills (in certain locations) Valid driver's license (as required by local authorities) Ability to pass FAA criminal background checks and obtain unescorted access honors to airport security identification display areas (SIDA) Ability to obtain airport authority and/or US Customs security badges (if applicable) Completion of a pre-employment drug screen, comprehensive background check, and/or fingerprinting Authorization to work in the U.S. Preferred qualifications include: Working knowledge of Saber or other Passenger Service Systems Past face-to-face customer service experience Experience working in a fast-paced environment What you'll get: Competitive salary ($24/hour) Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, and 401(k) program Opportunities for career growth and development Inclusive and diverse work environment Employee discounts on hotels, cars, cruises, and more Apply now to join the American Airlines team and start your journey to a rewarding and fulfilling career!
