Remote Crisis Chat & Text Specialist

Salary up to $24.04/hr for individuals with graduate degrees
$1.75/hr overnight shift differential for hours worked between 10 pm - 5 am Pacific Time

What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Respond to crisis chats and texts, providing emotional support and crisis intervention
Assess individuals for suicide risk and develop safety/action plans
Document interactions accurately in an electronic health record system
Research community resources to assist clients and follow up as necessary
Participate in ongoing training and workshops to stay updated on best practices
What Is Required (Qualifications)
Must meet Qualified Mental Health Associate requirements
Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques
Strong empathy and communication skills
Ability to handle high-stress situations and demonstrate emotional stability
Proficient in technology, including computers and telecommunication systems
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Graduate degree in psychology, social work, or a behavioral science field
ASIST certification or CADC certification
Relevant crisis intervention experience
Experience in a call center environment
Veterans are preferred
