This remote, part-time contract role involves creating high-quality creative writing and evaluating AI models in literary analysis and humanities subjects. Responsibilities • Write original, high-level creative pieces (stories, scripts, poems) to serve as training data for style, voice, and narrative structure • Evaluate and grade AI responses to complex prompts involving literary analysis, historical interpretation, or philosophical reasoning • Critique the AI's ability to mimic specific literary styles or historical voices, providing detailed feedback on anachronisms or tonal inconsistencies • Create prompts that test the model’s knowledge of the Humanities, from analyzing themes in classic literature to summarizing historical movements • Rewrite AI-generated content to elevate the prose from "passable" to "literary quality," focusing on metaphor, rhythm, and vocabulary choice Skills • Academic background in English Literature, Creative Writing, History, Philosophy, or a related Humanities field • A strong portfolio demonstrating both creative writing talent and the ability to write analytical/academic prose • Deep knowledge of literary canons, historical contexts, and cultural analysis • Excellent command of English with a sophisticated vocabulary and an ear for stylistic nuance • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment, managing time across multiple projects • MA or MFA in English Literature, Creative Writing, History, Philosophy, or a related Humanities field Benefits • Flexibility: 100% remote with no fixed schedule.
