[Remote] Creative Services Summer Intern (Traditional Design)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Penn Mutual is looking for a Creative Services Intern focused on traditional design. This internship offers valuable experience in graphic design and marketing projects while providing opportunities for training and mentorship.

Responsibilities
• Performs graphic design (print and digital) and marketing tasks at appropriate skill levels
• Maintains organized files – including proper team server protocols, categorizes digital assets, and project notes and communications
• Integrates into collaborative team process, including the sharing of thoughts and opinions on design and multimedia solutions
• Active team member accountable for working towards shared goals and objectives

Skills
• Working towards a degree in graphic design or related discipline
• Proven understanding of design theories – including color, layout and composition, and typography
• Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite are required
• Strong communicator in both written and verbal context
• Ability to plan and prioritize work towards the achievement of personal and corporate objectives
• Ability to make a positive contribution as demonstrated by learning new skills and making suggestions for process/procedure improvement
• Ability to work with others in a collaborative team environment
• Marketing coursework is a plus
• Previous corporate or studio work experience is a plus
