Remote Contractor position : Typescript/Vue developers - All Around The World
Work With Us! We need several strong, Typescript/Vue developers to help scientists beat the COVID-19 pandemic. We’re a small consulting company based in France. We build software for our clients and we like being small because it means we can give each client and team members the sort of dedicated attention that you simply can’t give someone if you have twenty projects running at the same time. So we’re kinda picky about who we work with, client and developers alike. We love talent, and team players. For one of our projects we are currently working on genetic diagnostics testing (think “Covid PCR”) and the client's decades of medical and robotics experience has made them a key player in COVID-19 testing in the US. But their work is just starting. Our work is just starting. When someone is tested for COVID, is it a new variant or an existing one? Did they just contract COVID or are they reinfected? If they’re infected, were they vaccinated? Combining well-established scientific workflows with state-of-the-art robotics, we need experienced TypeScript/Vue developers with a passion for science (or a willingness to learn!) to take this project to the next level. And once you’ve helped the world beat COVID, the work will just be beginning. Responsibilities • Write clean, well-tested code to efficiently execute scientific workflows • If your colleagues are stuck, you go out of your way to help them • Give and receive code reviews • Work together to define a long-term architectural vision to help fight disease Who You Are • You have at least 5 years experience working as a Javascript developer • You have at least two years of experience with TypeScript/Vue • You write highly performant, customer-facing applications (in regulated environments is a plus) • You love working in small teams with diverse skills • You love biology and willing to learn more While it’s not required, if you have experience with the world’s greatest open source database (a.k.a, “Postgres”), that’s a bonus. If you know AWS Lambda and/or API interfaces for AWS Cognito, that would make our socks roll up and down.
