Remote Contract Paralegal – Insurance Defense Litigation (20–30 hrs/week)
Looking for flexibility while using your insurance defense paralegal skills? We’re hiring a remote contract paralegal (1099) for 20–30 hours per week. You’ll support our busy litigation team from anywhere, working directly under attorney supervision. What you’ll do: • Draft and e-file Notices of Production with proposed Subpoenas Duces Tecum • Coordinate service with process servers and keep the records log current with status updates • Follow up with custodians to confirm receipt and production timelines • Forward invoices to the firm’s accounting department • Prepare medical record chronologies and damages summaries, as needed What we’re looking for: • At least 2 years of Florida insurance defense paralegal experience • Knowledge of Florida e-filing system, discovery rules, and procedures • Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable working independently in a remote setting • Bonus if you’re familiar with Clio Note: This is a 1099 independent contractor role.
