Remote Content Writer/Communications Specialist - Amazon (Part-Time, $26/Hour)
Join Amazon's Customer Trust External Relations (CTXR) Organization as a Remote Content Writer/Communications Specialist and play a pivotal role in shaping the company's external communications strategy. As a 100% remote position, you'll have the flexibility to work from anywhere and enjoy a competitive salary of $26/hour. In this role, you'll leverage your exceptional writing skills to create high-quality content for various channels, including websites, emails, and other external communications.
The CTXR Organization is dedicated to ensuring that customers have a trusted shopping experience on Amazon. As a Content Writer/Communications Specialist, you'll contribute to this mission by developing content that showcases Amazon's industry-leading work in protecting customers from fraud, counterfeiting, and other forms of abuse. You'll collaborate with internal stakeholders, including product owners, public relations, and public policy teams, to create consistent processes for publishing high-quality content.
Key Responsibilities:
Set and manage content guidelines to ensure alignment with Amazon's writing standards
Assist program leaders and the CTXR marketing team with writing and editing business materials
Develop a content strategy in collaboration with the customer loyalty team
Lead content analysis with senior managers and program managers from the client trust team
Collaborate with product, technology, and business teams to define content for external stakeholders
Create new customer loyalty content, including blog articles, newsletters, and articles
Serve as a communicator to senior executives, including preparing presentation materials and speeches
Identify and establish contacts with internal and external experts to assist in content creation
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in communications or journalism
Experience in corporate communications, public relations, or external work
Knowledge and comfort with writing AP style and experience with CMS tools
Deep understanding of writing for target audience groups and applying brand voice principles
Strong experience in creating and editing content
Bachelor's degree in English, technical, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
Experience working with global teams and colleagues
Experience working in an agile content development environment
Experience with markup languages such as HTML or XML
Strong penchant for action and ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
