[Remote] Content Management System (CMS) Specialist

The CMS Specialist plays a critical role in producing policy manuals and related content, ensuring clarity and accuracy in digital platforms.ResponsibilitiesUse Lexipol’s proprietary content management systems to publish policy content efficiently and accuratelyApply AP and in-house style guidelines rigorously in all authoring, editing, proofreading, and publication tasksEnsure content is accessible and formatted correctlyUse Microsoft Word to review and manage documents with precision according to workflow requirementsTrack data needed for key performance metrics related to content production and content engagementCollaborate effectively with the CMS Specialists and other Content team members, including editors and public safety content developers, to provide feedback that enhances content qualityConstruct and deploy targeted, HTML-formatted emails that support customer engagement with the CMSManage multiple projects simultaneously, working under tight deadlines without compromising on quality or accuracySkillsAll candidates must be authorized to work in the USCandidates must already live in the United StatesApplicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment or student Visa at this timeProficient authoring in content management systems and capable of publishing and testing content within such platformsAbility to balance speed with meticulous attention to detail; thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume operationExcellent knowledge of standard English, with proven editing, proofreading, and content testing skillsFamiliarity with AP styleStrong collaboration skills, with experience working alongside content strategists, editors, legal professionals, and public safety experts preferredInnately curious, consistently seeking out new knowledge and experiences, with the confidence to experiment with new technology and technical capabilities in support of innovation and continuous improvementBachelor's degree in Communications, Information Systems, Information Management, or related field or equivalent experienceBasic knowledge of HTML preferredExperience with Wrike, Trello, Confluence, JIRA, or other similar workflow management systemsExperience with Pardot, Hubspot, or similar marketing content automation and targeting tools is a plusBenefits401(k) with Company matchFlexible paid time off planCompany OverviewLexipol empowers first responders and public servants with mission-critical solutions to best meet community needs safely and responsibly.
