Kieffer at SUMMARY OF POSITION: • REMOTE POSITION** The Compliance Officer is responsible to monitor, implement and administer compliance policies, procedures, and initiatives. Monitors, and remains knowledgeable with, laws, standards and trends affecting compliance initiatives. Participates in initial and periodic compliance risk assessments and conducts related ongoing monitoring activities. Performs investigations and tracks compliance related incidents and violations. Answers policy and regulatory related questions from personnel and management. Assists in or conducts training initiatives. MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S): • Bachelor's degree or four (4) years equivalent experience • Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or willingness to obtain with twelve (12) months of hire • Minimum seven (7) years experience in healthcare compliance, internal audit, coding, billing, finance or another related field • Minimum three (3) years experience in complex high risk compliance areas, which may include, but not be limited to 340B, Provider Based Requirements, or Physician Arrangements PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S): • Advanced degree • Coding certification (e.g., CCS, CPC, RHIA, RHIT) • Professional privacy certifications (e.g., Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), etc.) WHY PENN STATE HEALTH?
